Our Commitment

Born Again Matrimonial has zero tolerance for child exploitation in any form. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement authorities.

As a faith-based matrimonial platform, we hold the safety, dignity, and well-being of all individuals — especially children and minors — as non-negotiable values rooted in our Christian principles.

This policy governs how Born Again Matrimonial prevents, detects, and responds to any content or behaviour that exploits, harms, or endangers children. It applies to all registered members, staff, and third-party service providers.

02

Zero Tolerance Policy

We maintain an absolute and unconditional zero-tolerance stance on any of the following:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) — uploading, sharing, or linking to such content.
  • Grooming or soliciting minors for any purpose.
  • Attempting to contact, match with, or develop relationships with individuals under 18 years of age.
  • Using our Platform to facilitate child marriage in any form.
  • Encouraging or enabling any adult to communicate with a minor in an inappropriate manner.
  • Falsely claiming or implying that a minor is an adult in any context.

There are no exceptions, warnings, or second chances for violations involving minors. Accounts will be permanently banned and relevant data turned over to law enforcement immediately.

03

Age Verification

Our Platform is intended exclusively for adults who are eligible to marry under Indian law. We take the following measures to prevent minors from accessing our Platform:

  • All registration forms require a date of birth confirming the user is at least 18 years old (21 for male members).
  • Our moderation team reviews all new profile photos for signs of underage users.
  • Any member can report a profile they suspect belongs to a minor through our reporting system.
  • Accounts reported as potentially belonging to a minor are immediately suspended pending investigation.
We may request additional identity verification documents (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, or Passport) if we have reason to doubt a member's age.
04

Prohibited Content & Behaviour

The following content and behaviour are absolutely prohibited on our Platform:

  • Any image, video, or text that sexualises minors in any way.
  • Profile photos that include children, even as part of a family photograph.
  • Messages that attempt to communicate with, discuss, or involve minors.
  • Any content that promotes, glorifies, or normalises child marriage.
  • Sharing contact information (phone numbers, social media links) with individuals who identify as minors.
  • Stories, posts, or testimonials that describe romantic involvement with a person below the legal age of marriage.
05

Reporting Violations

Every member of our community has a responsibility to report suspected violations of this policy. You can report concerns through the following channels:

  • In-app reporting: Use the "Report" button on any profile or message.
  • Email: safety@bornagain.com (monitored 24/7 for child safety issues).
  • Phone: +91 79075 30393 (escalate to our Child Safety Team).
  • National authority: Report to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.
All reports are treated with strict confidentiality. You will not be identified to the person you are reporting. Reporting in good faith will not result in any adverse action against you.
06

Our Response Process

Upon receiving a report of a potential child safety violation, we follow this process:

  1. Immediate suspension: The reported account is suspended within 1 hour of a credible report while investigation is in progress.
  2. Evidence preservation: All relevant messages, content, and account activity are secured and preserved.
  3. Investigation: Our Child Safety Team reviews all available evidence within 24 hours.
  4. Law enforcement referral: If there is credible evidence of criminal activity involving a minor, we immediately report to the relevant law enforcement agencies and the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.
  5. Account action: Accounts confirmed to have violated this policy are permanently banned and their data submitted to authorities.
  6. Reporter follow-up: We notify the reporter of the action taken (without disclosing confidential investigation details).
07

Legal Compliance

Our Child Protection Policy is designed to comply fully with all applicable Indian laws, including:

  • Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 — We are mandatory reporters of any CSAM discovered on our Platform.
  • Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 — We do not facilitate or support child marriages in any form.
  • Information Technology Act, 2000 and IT Rules — We comply with all provisions regarding electronic records and reporting obligations.
  • Indian Penal Code — Sections relating to offences against children are strictly observed.

We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies, CERT-In, and the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) in any investigation involving the safety of minors.
